A bouquet consists of about 20 stems of different lengths and is about 40-60 cm high.

The product image shows 25 stems arranged in the 35 cm high Cloud Vase Medium.

The stems are pre-prepared and charred to prevent the sticky milky sap that these flowers secrete when cut from the stems from coagulating and leaking into the water. Hence the slightly dark stem ends.

Tip: If you cut the stems above the burnt part, reheat the poppies before placing them in the vase. Either hold the flower in boiling water for about 15 seconds after cutting, or place it over the flame of a lighter or candle. This will ensure a longer shelf life.

Place poppies in a fresh vase filled with lukewarm water. Avoid placing the flowers next to a fruit bowl, in a draft, or in bright sunlight.

Check regularly to make sure the poppies have enough water. Ideally, change the water every other day. After a few days, cut the stems diagonally again.

Caution: The latex of poppies is poisonous.
