Cut the broom stems fresh, trimming them diagonally and splitting the woody ends slightly to improve water absorption. Remove any flowers and small, branched stems at the bottom. Place in a cool, bright location, ideally at 10–15 °C, out of direct sunlight.
Regularly changing the water is very important for branches.
Our pink broom has been dyed.
Broom can be dried. To do this, hang it loosely in a cool, dry room.
