Cut the stems diagonally with a sharp knife or scissors. Remove any excess leaves so they don't extend into the water. Ideal temperatures are 10–15 degrees Celsius.
Regularly renewing the water is very important for branches.
Eucalyptus can be dried very well and has a lovely scent.
