1. Suitable vase for gerberas
Choose a medium-sized vase for the gerbera. Gerbera flowers are quite heavy relative to their stems, so it's important that the vase provides good support for the stems. Be sure to use a clean vase.

2. Fill the vase with water
Gerberas shouldn't be placed too deep in the water. Therefore, fill the vase with cold water so that the stems are only about one-third submerged. If the gerberas are placed too deep in the water, the soft stems can quickly begin to rot. Completely dissolve the enclosed care product in the water before placing the stems in the water.
3. Cut the gerbera correctly
Cut gerberas slightly diagonally using a sharp knife or TF flower scissors .
After cutting, place the gerberas immediately in the prepared vase so that the cut surfaces do not dry out and no air gets into the water channels of the stems.
If the Gerbera stems become slimy over time, cut off about half of the stems and place them in fresh water.
4.No sun, warmth and fruit
To prevent the gerberas from wilting or rotting too quickly, do not place them in direct sunlight, in a place that is too warm, or near fruit.

Gerberas evaporate a lot of water through their flowers. Therefore, it's important to repeat the steps explained above every few days to ensure the gerberas always have enough clean water.
